Issue: Unable to pair hub via bluetooth.
What this means: Customer cannot pair over Bluetooth please use follow actions below to attempt to solve the issue
Action:
- Ensure you have entered the correct Bluetooth pairing pin (this is the Pin code you used when verifying the hub GDID and pin)
- Switch off Bluetooth on your phone / tablet and then switch it back on again then try again
- Delete any previous bond to the hub in your Bluetooth settings and try again:
- Open the settings app
- Open Bluetooth
- Remove / unpair any device with the name starting GWXXXX<Dimplex>
- Return to Dimplex Control app and try again
- Restart your phone / tablet and Dimplex Hub and try again
- Clear Bluetooth cache (Android only)
- Open settings -> Apps -> Show system apps -> Bluetooth -> Clear Data / Clear Cache
- Return to Dimplex Control app and try again
