My hot water cylinder is leaking from the cylinder body and water is pooling at the base of the unit. How do I resolve?

Issue:  Water is coming from the body of the cylinder and pooling at the base of the cylinder.

Action: 

In guarantee- Ensure the pipework to the cylinder has been checked by the installer/plumber to confirm the leak has not originated from the pipework/fitting surrounds. 

Once this has been checked and if the leak is still present, a service visit is required. Water supply should be turned off and then cylinder should be drained as much as possible by turning hot taps on to stop more water coming out of the product.

Out of Guarantee- One of approved service agents (see link below) and/or a local G3 qualified plumber will need to thoroughly check the pipework/surround fittings/cylinder and action accordingly. Water supply should be turned off and then cylinder should be drained as much as possible by turning hot taps on to stop more water coming out of the product.
