Service mode allows the Dimplex Customer support team or field service engineer to remotely help you with a Dimplex Control query.
To enable service mode, tap on the Hubs icon at the bottom of the screen, then on the "..." icon next to your hub, then tap on "service mode".
Use the toggle button on screen to turn on the service mode. The app will provide you with the GDID and randomly generated one time PIN code to provide to the Dimplex customer support team either over the phone or via email / support ticket. With this information, we can remotely access your installation to check and change modes, settings, energy usage & diagnostic information.
After 24 hours, service mode is automatically disabled for security reasons, in case you forgot to disable it. If you want to use it again, you can toggle it back on and a new PIN is generated to be given to us. This prevents anyone who previously accessed your site from doing so again with the same credentials.
Likewise, if you wish to terminate access early, you can simply toggle the service mode "off".
