How do I reset the thermal cut-out on the AC air heater?

WARNING – Servicing and product repairs should only be undertaken by the manufacturers approved service agent or a similarly trained or qualified person, using only exact manufacturer approved spare parts. 


Thermal safety cut-outs.

Follow the steps below to reset cut-out(s) (must be completed by a competent person)


1. Disconnect power supply. 

2. Determine what has caused the cut-out to operate and rectify. Remove any obstructions to air flow and ensure product clearances are strictly obeyed. Check for any build up of dust to make sure the fan is moving freely.

3. After a short period of time (ensuring the heater is cool), press the cut-out button(s) to reactivate, allowing the electrical supply to return to the heater, thus permitting normal operation.

4. Reassemble heater and test heater to ensure product is functioning correctly.
