This will be dependent upon your needs and heat demand throughout the day. If you’re out of the house for most of the day or would prefer the unit to come on at set times, automatic operation may be the best option. This setting gives four periods of heat which you can set in accordance with your preferences to meet heat demand while saving energy. The standard temperature for this mode is 22°C, but this can be adjusted (see manual)
If you require heat on demand, as the hours at which you’re home vary, manual mode may be best suited to you. With this, you can set a comfortable temperature and have the heater maintain it until you choose to turn it up, down or off. If you want to leave the unit in automatic operation but require heat outside of the set hours, you can simply press ‘advance’ and set the desired temperature temporarily.
